Parnu sightseeing

Detail description
Most of our Baltic tour groups bypass Parnu on the way from Riga to Tallinn or back. Unfortunately, not all groups are willing to spend extra hour to see Estonian summer capital.

Parnu has long history that started in 1251 when bishop of the Osel Wiek Hienrich established town of Perona. But Parnu history museum hold exhibits of human instruments made 11,000 year ago including 8000 year old human sculpture made of an elk antler.

In 1838 bathing house was launched and it marks beginning Parnu as resort town. Hedon Spa provides spa services now in the very first resort facility in town.

There are numerous monuments in Parnu marking history of the town and the country, main pedestrian Ruutli street filled with cafes and souvenir shops, picturesque quiet park and marina area.

Parnu sightseeing takes 1-1.5 hour.
