Lithuanian capital Vilnius is the city of low flying angels. You can see your first angel entering the city on major highways and you will see them in varied places around the town. You can feel the magic of the city in every corner of the old town.

Once the capital of the largest country in Europe Vilnius by today preserved large part of it’s heritage in Gothic street plan, baroque churches, noblemen palaces and the city is still comfortable and convenient for traveler to walk and enjoy being among the locals. Vilnius Old Town is included into UNESCO World Heritage list. Modern cultural life boosts with numerous festivals, theater and arts. Tourists can enjoy varied restaurants from Lithuanian noblemen cuisine, to Lithuanian ethnic meals, multiple international restaurants and fine dining with internationally recognized chefs.

What to do in Vilnius? The city is the only capital in Europe where hot air balloons can fly right over the old town and you can experience that. City sightseeing on segways is popular activity or you can rent a bike and explore 360 hectares of the Old Town on your own. Numerous museums with Lithuanian cultural and historical heritage exposition, modern arts galleries, opera, ballet and concert halls – anything for culture hungry visitors.

You can visit Trakai just 30 kilometers from Vilnius with one of the largest insular castles in Europe. And in Trakai apart from visiting museums you can rent boats, yachts, bikes or walk around the lakes and ancient town.

There can by written large stories about this soulful city but the best thing is to come to Vilnius and enjoy every minute in town.

Day 1: Arrival to Vilnius. Accommodation in a hotel of your choice. An afternoon tour of Vilnius.

Day 2: A morning trip to Trakai, afternoon free.

Day 3: Departure.

Day 4: Free day in Vilnius or a full day trip to Kaunas.

Day 5: Departure

Day 1: Arrival to Vilnius. Private transfer to your hotel. Afternoon walking city tour shows off the Old Town of Vilnius with its main historical and architectural monuments including the Cathedral, the Bishop’s Palace (now the Presidential Palace), Vilnius University, the Gothic corner with St. Anne and Bernardine’s Churches and the Gates of Dawn.

Day 2: Morning tour to Trakai, the former capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, including a visit to the 15th century red-brick Trakai castle, situated amidst the lakes.

Free afternoon to explore Vilnius at your own pace.

Day 3: Private transfer to the airport.

Optional trip to Kaunas

A full day excursion to Kaunas, the second major city in Lithuania, known for its unique Old Town, interesting art museums, noisy and bustling pedestrian avenue Laisves Aleja (Liberty Avenue) - the town’s main shopping and eating-out place. Tour includes the Town Hall Square with its impressive Catholic Churches and Theological Seminary, Ciurlionis Art Gallery and Devils’ Museum.

Day 3: A day to explore the town independently: stroll along the narrow cobblestone streets of the Old Town, stop for a cup of coffee in cafés or bars located in romantic courtyards, visit numerous souvenir shops for Baltic amber, linen and locally made handicrafts which are inexpensive and will add to pleasant mementoes of your visit. This evening you may also wish to visit a concert, opera or a ballet performance.

Day 4: Private transfer to the airport.
