Get ready for the Saint Casimir Fair in Vilnius on 3-5 March 2023
Saint Casimir (Kaziukas) Fair – a huge folk festivity originated from the processions honoring St. Casimir (Kazimieras) – the Patron of Lithuania – dating back to the XVII century. Over time, the religious feast transformed into a three-day St. Casimir fair which always takes place on the first weekend of March.
Farmers and craftsmen, both local and from neighboring countries sell their handmade products, culinary specialties, as well as unique Palm Sunday decoration – Verba. The festival spreads over Old Town of Vilnius from Gediminas Avenue to Cathedral Square, Pilies and Didžioji streets branching to Maironio street up to St Ann’s Church and reaching Užupis. There will be a lot of places for you to walk around and discover various crafts.
We invite you for an unforgettable experience of visiting festive Vilnius and making acquaintance with this long-lasting Lithuanian tradition.
